Fayetteville, N.C. - The USA South Athletic Conference has announced its All-Conference awards for softball. A total of 52 student-athletes have been named to the USA South All-Conference teams. Christopher Newport University student-athletes nearly swept the individual awards as Jessie Atkinson earned Player of the Year honors, Whitney Haller collected Pitcher of the Year accolades and Candice Zollars was named Rookie of the Year while their coach, Keith Parr earned Coach of the Year honors. The lone non-Captain was Greensboro College's Kelsey Sanfilippo who was named Rookie Pitcher of the Year. Also, the USA South recognized an All-Sportsmanship Team, consisting of one member from each competing school. All honors were determined by votes from the softball coach at each institution.
