Softball Selected Fifth in USA South Preseason Poll

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The USA South softball coaches selected Meredith College to finish fifth in the preseason coaches' poll as released Wednesday from the conference office.

Christopher Newport University, the four-time defending regular season champions, was picked to win this year's softball title with 121 points and 11 of 12 first-place votes.
