Due to the rainy weather forecasted for today and tomorrow, the 19th Annual Meredith College Golf Classic at Brier Creek Country Club has been postponed until Monday, May 8, 2017. The Meredith athletics department will host the full event complete with 18 holes of golf, silent auction, raffles, and dinner, beginning with check-in at 11:30 a.m. and the shotgun start at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 8.
The Meredith College track & field Avenging Angels finished the outdoor season strong at Thursday's Atlantic Independent Championship. Megan Evans won the 10,000 meter race to open the event, and the Angels finished fifth overall on the day.
