Cross Country Runs in Cary

Cary, N.C. - The Meredith Cross Country team competed in the Adidas Cross Country Challenge at WakeMed Soccer Park.  The Avenging Angels ran strong as all runners improved their best times of the year.  Meredith finished seveneth in the field of 10 teams that once again included teams across multilpe divisions of the NCAA.

Morgan Youd led the pack for Meredith with a time of 20:02 on the 5k course.  The top eight for the Avenging Angels were rounded out by Caitlin Dorantich (20:38), Melissa Balbach (21:55), Lara Pantlin (22:09), Ashley Kate Kesler (23:09), Peta-Gaye Allen (23:12), Callie Davis (23:14) and Megan Beebe (23:14).

Meredith next runs at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational in Carlisle, Pa. on September 24.
