Meredith College Athletic Facilties

Lowery Family Fitness Center

Thanks to the generosity of Ann Lowery, ’74, The Parents Fund, and The Cannon Foundation, Meredith College unveiled the Lowery Family Fitness Center on August 28, 2017. A $1 million gift from Lowery named the center after her parents, Herman and Ruth Lowery.

With the campus fitness space expanded by more than 5,400 square feet, Meredith athletic teams benefit from new areas for team training and sports conditioning. The Lowery Center includes a variety of cardio machines, power lifting racks, free weights, resistance machines, medicine balls, bands, and other accessory equipment and technology enhancements to improve user experience for the entire campus community.

Meredith Softball Complex

The home of Meredith softball has recently undergone several
renovations. The addition of irrigation to the Bermuda field, a warning track, and other infield improvements stepped up the playing conditions to make it one of the best fields in the area. Dugouts provide
comfort for players, and a new backstop enhances the game
atmosphere and improve spectator safety.
