  • Meredith Debuts in National DIII Poll

    Meredith College made their debut in a national poll in Monday's Nike/US Lacrosse Division III Women's Top-20 after a 2-0 weekend versus non-conference opponents. Still early in the season, the five-time defending USA South Conference Tournament Champion Avenging Angels entered the poll as no. 20.

    Meredith College lacrosse cruised to a 20-6 victory at Virginia Wesleyan Sunday, and Lilia Cruz once again led the Avenging Angels in total points with eight.
  • Lax Angels Open with 20-14 Win Over CNU

    Meredith College put away the host Christopher Newport Captains 20-14 in Saturday's women's lacrosse pairing to open the season. The Avenging Angels assumed the lead a third of the way into the first period and never relinquished control during just the second battle between the two programs.

  • Meredith Athletics to Honor Championship Lacrosse Team

    The Meredith College athletics program will recognize the 2018 USA South Regular Season and Tournament Championship women's lacrosse team during halftime of the Sunday, Feb. 3, women's home basketball game. Last year marked the lacrosse program's fifth conference tournament title and NCAA appearance. Carlee Joseph will also receive the USA South Don Scalf Female Student-Athlete of the Year award she earned last June.

  • Four Lacrosse Players Lead Team in Academic Awards

    Four Meredith College lacrosse players were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III Academic Honor Roll as announced Monday. Sarah Arbes, Julia Doyle, Carlee Joseph, and Cameron Ruffin led the team as an IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad for the third year.
