    Meredith College lacrosse capped off the 2019 USA South regular season with a 26-1 victory Saturday afternoon over the visiting Greensboro Pride. Julie Capretti netted her 200th career goal in the Senior Day victory as she and five other Avenging Angels were recognized prior to the match.
  • Lacrosse Shuts Out Piedmont, 23-0

    The Meredith College lacrosse Avenging Angels had no issues with the 22-hour rain delay leading up to Monday morning's USA South match at Piedmont College. Olivia Higgs led MC Lax with nine points, five caused turnovers, to shut out the Lions, 23-0.

    The Meredith College Avenging Angels downed the first-year women's lacrosse program of William Peace 24-3 Tuesday evening to remain in solid control of the USA South. Six Angels scored at least three goals with Julie Capretti leading the match with five, and Holly Hite collected 13 draw controls.

    Meredith College put away the host Christopher Newport Captains 20-14 in Saturday's women's lacrosse pairing to open the season. The Avenging Angels assumed the lead a third of the way into the first period and never relinquished control during just the second battle between the two programs.
