RALEIGH, N.C. -- Holly Hite earned her second honor as a member of a Division III All-American team, as announced this week from the International Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). Hite is 1-of-19 players named to the second team with 57 Division III women's lacrosse athletes honored. This marks Hite's second career All-American selection.
One of Meredith's most decorated Avenging Angels, Hite was the 2019 USA South Women's Lacrosse Player of the Year, a two-time conference tournament MVP, and three-time All-Conference first team selection. She earned three IWLCA All-Region selections and was named Meredith's 2019 Athlete of the Year.
She led a senior class who dominated the USA South with an undefeated four-year career complete with four Regular Season and Tournament Championships, followed by four NCAA Tournament appearances. Hite ended her career ranked third nationally with 568 draw controls and 10th averaging 7.01 per game. Within the conference Hite led this season in shots and shots on goal and ranks in the top-six in goals, points, and caused turnovers.
