The 2018 Meredith College volleyball squad earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the third consecutive year. One of 1,127 volleyball programs to earn recognition, MCVB helped surpass last year's record-breaking total by 150 teams.

Junior outside hitter Caroline Corey was named to the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association's 2018 College Division All-State Women's Volleyball second team. She was one of 14 players who received the recognition and the only one representing NCAA Division III.
